Banco Rioja is the main provincial bank of La Rioja. It is a leader in "the provision of financial services to the northern region of the country and offers a wide range of services to more than 120,000 clients, both individuals and companies."
With Banco Rioja, the main objective of the project was to migrate one of its intranets, operating in Drupal 5, to Drupal 8. Taking advantage of this update, also implement changes in the information structure, product of evolution and experience in the use of the system, as well as to take advantage of the new features of Drupal. Finally, implement improvements in the visual aspect of the system.
For a better performance of their own team, and with the aim of optimizing the use of our own services towards them, we did a training for the personnel of the process sector, who now work with the updated version of the site and have a much greater range of tools available.
One of the guiding principles of the training consisted of carrying it out in a personalized manner based on the Banco Rioja site and the needs of the attendees. We use a test site specially dedicated for tests/exercises.
We held eight virtual meetings where the Drupal Soul team presented general concepts of Drupal and a review of the modules used on the site, with particular focus on Views, a module used with great intensity to perform complex queries and present information.
